A Servant’s Heart - Patty Maldonado
Patty Maldonado
Patty was born and raised in Honduras however, she later moved to Chicago where she attended college and eventually married her husband. She raised three beautiful children, two boys and a girl and moved to Texas when her older son chose to attend Texas A&M in College Station. She has three grandchildren now and is happily waiting for more to come.
Patty has been working with Chick-Fil-A for the past seven years. She likes working at Chick-Fil-A because it gives her the opportunity to serve others and foster the friendships she has with her coworkers. She sees herself in the next five years continuing to honor God by serving people to the best of her ability at Chick-Fil-A.
For Patty, being BEYONDCHIKIN means to give to others what she has received herself, that being grace and love from Jesus and serving those who God puts in her path whether it be customers or employees.
Second Mile Service in Patty’s eyes is treating guests with respect and integrity and giving her best everyday by being aware of how and what she says and trying to anticipate her guests’ needs. She believes being proactive and striving to make every interaction personal is crucial to making each and every guest feel at home.
Outside of working, Patty enjoys spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She loves every moment she spends with them and hopes to continue making great memories with them. She also enjoys reading and reaching out to friends and relatives on the phone.
Her favorite meal at Chick-Fil-A is the side salad with corn, black beans, and blue cheese.
