Chick-fil-A set me up for success in life - Trevyn Sell
I began working at Chick-fil-A in high school when I was 16. I originally only applied because my mom always said the employees were so nice, but what I gained while working there was so much more than that. I ended up working at Chick-fil-A for about five years, between the Plano location and the one in my college town, which I got to help open!
While working at Chick-fil-A, I got to serve as a Shift Leader and Trainer. Getting to learn from amazing leaders and grow in the setting of Chick-fil-A helped teach me compassion and respect for others, patience, and to do everything I do to the best of my ability. Training new employees were my favorite thing to do, as teaching is one of the passions I got to discover while working there. Almost all the skills I gained while working at Chick-fil-A are carried over into the rest of my life, including in my job as an Electrical Engineer in the Tampa Bay, Florida area.
Whether it was working Drive-Thru during a crazy lunch rush, or mopping an empty store on a Saturday night, I’m forever grateful for the time I got to spend with my Chick-fil-A family, and very thankful I was able to receive a scholarship to aid in my college studies.
