Succeed with “My Pleasure” at Chick-Fil-A

“You’re welcome” is the usual respond to a “thank you ”. But “my pleasure” is the normal reply to a customers casual “thank you” where I worked. On the surface, this may seem unnecessary and peculiar, but when I sit down and think about what the words my pleasure supposed to mean, It makes me appreciate the focus Chick-fil-A has on creating a servant heart in their employees. It is not too much fun scrubbing and mopping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms, Or especially climbing the playground to clean playground from the top sections (Don’t ask me how the kid even ended up peeing up there). But chick-fil-a has taught me that I can do these and the other sort of actions with a happy heart. My time working there has shown me the importance of being a servant and make it a pleasure to serve others.
