Chick-Fil-A helped me become a BETTER me

I have been working at Chick-Fil-A for almost almost 6 years and none of those years have made me regret working there. There are two things that have kept me here at Chick-Fil-A over these years  -  my amazing co-workers and the ability to deliver WOW to our  customers. Everyday I come to work, I feel welcomed and appreciated. My co-workers are like my second family.  They constantly  inspire me to become a better person, leader, and friend. It is always so much fun at work no matter what happens during the day.  They make the day go so much easier with their support and encouragement. It is an amazing working environment.  Secondly, Chick-fil-A has taught me valuable customer service skills, allowing me to go the second-mile in making our customers happy.  When I am able to do that, it makes me happy and inspires me to do that even more.

At Chick-Fil-A, I learned many  skills and experienced a lot of different situations. Chief among those is leadership. Leadership means taking initiative, trying ideas no one had tried before. Now that I am in my Junior year pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I have  come to realize how important this skill is. 

Communication is also another important skill I learned at Chick-Fil-A. Communication is the key to everything. Without communication, your team will surely crumble and fail. Working at Chick-Fil-A has given me the confidence to open up to others and talk to all kinds of different people.   

I want to thank my friends and family at Chick-Fil-A. Without them, the current version of me would not exist. I am a better person because of them and am grateful we could be a part of this journey together.
