Guiding the Next Generation, One Shift at a Time

Jennifer Priddy, October 2025

When Jennifer Priddy joined Chick-fil-A Park Blvd. & Plano Pkwy. in January of 2024, she was simply looking for a second job. She hoped to make ends meet and keep her retirement plans on track. What she didn’t expect was to find a second family—a place where faith, teamwork, and purpose blended into something extraordinary.

Finding Joy in the Hustle

From her first day, Jennifer could feel there was something different about this restaurant. The pace was fast, the expectations were high, but the environment was grounded in grace. Every shift wasn’t just about serving chicken sandwiches—it was about serving people, building character, and shaping the future of young team members who would one day lead in their own way.

One of Jennifer’s favorite early memories was working a busy lunch rush with a new teammate named Travis. Both were learning the ropes behind the counter, making milkshakes side by side and laughing through the chaos. Between spilled toppings and the hum of blenders, Jennifer saw how encouragement and teamwork could turn stress into joy. That small moment became a reflection of what Chick-fil-A Park is all about—ordinary people lifting each other up to do something remarkable together.

Leading by Example

As she grew from Team Member to Trainer and eventually Shift Leader, Jennifer discovered her true calling in mentorship. She had a gift for spotting potential in others, offering guidance and reassurance when challenges arose. Her leadership was quiet but steady, grounded in humility and care. She believed that the best leaders were the ones who serve first.

It’s encouraging to know we are teaching the youth to be successful young employees, empowering them with a work ethic that will take them far no matter the path they choose.

Jennifer credits much of her own growth to the leaders who poured into her — Jose Perez, who modeled accountability and strength, and Mrs. Olivia, whose warmth and consistency showed her what it means to lead with both structure and heart.

For Jennifer, faith and mentorship go hand in hand. Every day brings a chance to not only serve guests but to pour into the next generation of leaders.

Leaving a Lasting Mark

Outside the restaurant, Jennifer finds joy in family life. With five children and four grandchildren, she treasures time outdoors—hiking, disc golfing, swimming, or walking her dogs.

After faithfully balancing two jobs, Jennifer’s primary employer recently provided the stability she needed, allowing her to step away from Chick-fil-A Park. Though her her time with Chick-fil-A Park has come to a close, her influence remains—in the culture she helped strengthen and the teammates she mentored along the way.

When asked what advice she would give to someone considering joining the Chick-fil-A Park team, Jennifer doesn’t hesitate. “Work hard, stay humble, and recognize how blessed you are,” she says. “You’re surrounded by people who want to see you grow—not just as an employee, but as a person.”
